Hubby sautees or fries a lot of things, and deep straight sides help prevent splatter. The detachable handle makes storage easier. The pan is very well made of high quality materials, and is extremely nonstick! It is easy to use, easy to clean, and looks great. I really like the detachable handle, because sometimes I have four pans on the stove and the handles can get in the way. This ceramic skillet heats well and evenly, even on my old electric stove. We use it literally twice a day for one thing or another, and today it is lightly breaded pork steaks. Yum. Hubby and I are delighted with it, and recommend it without hesitation. I first encountered them at a friend’s who is a longtime cook with a collection of many pans to choose from, and these are the ones he used almost exclusively. They are truly non-stick. The detachable handle is a plus, for not getting in the way if there are pans on other burners on the stove, and for stacking. As per their instructions, use only on low-medium heat— which is fine because the heat transfers very efficiently, and no metal utensils— you won’t need them because you won’t have to scrape anything. The set does not come with lids, but I happen to have lids that fit.”

It sits flat on my range without any wobble. I like the pattern inside as I have other similar pots and they have worked well. I used this set for a while now and it feels really quality. I do use a brush to clean it easily and things I cook in it doesn’t stick much. I use enough oil in pans so things don’t stick, it’s a fallacy to think you don’t need oil to cook in a pan and that it won’t stick, all pans will stick. I think I fried an egg in it for my first dish, that’s usually the item I test out all cookware. You need enough oil to let the egg slide around, otherwise, it will stick and get into the pattern. This is why I use a brush to clean it and then a sponge at the end.This set heats up evenly and pretty quickly. I have to remember to just give it a minute on high heat and then turn it down. I like the idea of detachable handles as I don’t like washing around rivets and have to always spend extra time using a brush around rivets. These pans are easier to hand wash for that feature of no rivets. I have other pans with detachable handles and they all work on similar pans. In fact, the one thing I would ding on this set is that the provided single handle doesn’t clip on as tight as some of my other ones from other sets. There is a slight slack where it wiggles but not so much that it will fall off, it holds it and I can lift it up without worrying about dropping the pan but my other handles grip much more firmly on both my other sets and on this set. The release on this handle is also hard to trigger unlike my other handles. If I had nothing else to compare it to, I wouldn’t notice these subtle differences but since I do have 2 other sets and extra handles I have purchased to have on hand, I know what is a better design. I am surprised that for 3 pans, they only provided 1 handle. I’m glad I have extra handles from other sets because it’s inconvenient to only have one if you’ve got multiple burners and dishes and side items going at one time. Otherwise, this is a good set with a fair price point for its quality. Since I have extra handles, sometimes I use two on either side for the larger pan since with content, it’s heavy. I like it as I continue to reach for it to do my cooking. I’m glad I was able to get this to try out.”
