We let the pan heat up, then added the oil and the food we were heating. It comes in pieces and it is better if you have your own screw driver because the one they give you is way too small for the parts you need them for. The ‘wrench’ is also a bit of a pain, so if you have real tools it is easier to assemble. These pan did feel pretty quality and heavy. The handles are nice and it all feels like a solid pan once you put it together. I have never had a stainless steel pan stain the way this one did though. I may switch it up and have these as my camping pans. (more for trunk camping, as they are way to heavy to hike with).”

As long as you heat them properly, put a bit of a high smoke point oil and or butter, you can’t go wrong. And my family really enjoys the great sauces I’m able to make with all that nice fond thats left in the pan after cooking. And cleanup is no problem, you can de-glaze with water and scrape up any mess while the pan is still warm, wash with some soap, and if necessary a little Bar Keepers Friend Stainless Cleaner will make them look new. Its a night and day difference between these and the inexpensive pans I used to use. I was lucky enough to catch these on sale, so I saved a few bucks, but in my opinion, they’re worth every penny, even at full price. These pans will last a lifetime, not like the non-stick cookware you have to replace every year. And they’re much healthier too. If you enjoy cooking like I do, don’t hesitate to get these pans.”

Customer Review: “Received the 3 set of pans today, washed them and used them right away, heated all 3 then added oil and cooked with them, fried chicken, scrambled eggs with ham, fries, frozen veggies and refried beans. After lunch was over I used the softest silicone spatula I had to see how much got stuck to them and it was like cleaning soap from glass with a squeegee, no scrubbing required, I would say 99% of all the food was removed like that and after a quick soap wash they look brand new, I’ll see how they behave in the next months but so far they’re worth every penny. Update Sept 2 / 2025 white spots and food sticking. I noticed white spots on the pans, after some research it turns out it’s because of improper use, if the pan is too hot and water completely evaporates from them it causes trace minerals like potassium to stick to the pan creating that hazy look which is easily removed in like 1 minute with plain white vinegar. Also even if heated properly and with enough oil food will stick if the temperature of it is too cold, which is actually improper use as well, it is recommended for food to be room temperature for best results. After a learning curve due to these being my first stainless steel pans, I no longer see any white spots and no food sticks to them. Once again I 100% recommend them.”

I’m still learning, but SS doesn’t seem to need as much heat to cook well. I’ve found that stuff sticks more the higher the heat and less with lower heat. People need to understand that certain things will stick, specially when cooking chicken, meat etc, but you add water to it while the pan is hot and you can either make gravy or sauces from it, it’s called deglazing, a standard cooking procedure that most people don’t know because they’ve always used teflon. Any bad reviews must come from inexperienced folk, I know bc I myself am an inexperienced person with stainless steel and I used to make those mistakes, a simple youtube guide does wonders 👍”
