This is one of them.- Highly effective at containing oil/grease spatter while also allowing steam/moisture to vent (i.e., superior to lids)- Super easy to clean afterwards by hand (I prefer doing it this way to avoid the heat of the dishwasher aging the silicone), mine looks good as new and has zero stickiness after 6 months of frequent use- Super useful when draining liquids! I often cook chicken, taco meat, stew beef, and stir fry which often produces too much liquid which you want to drain out. I used to have to try to use paper towels or use a utensil or a lid not designed for easy draining and would have a hot mess everywhere. This lid makes containing oil spatter and draining excess liquid super convenient and easy. Customer Review: “My old 10” grease splatter screen was a bit rusty and flimsy, so it needed to be replaced with a better one. I wanted the large 13in. size of this Trazon brand because I have a couple of larger frying pans. I like the 304-grade stainless steel fine mesh that allows the steam to rise but cuts down on hurtful grease-spitting and mess. (I do have to remember to either turn down the heat or move the pan to another burner so that I can check the temperature of any meat I fry before I lift up the Trazon. My boyfriend cooked his pork sausage patties and didn’t bother doing that.) I am happy with the heat-resistant TPR plastic handle that is convenient to hold without needing to use a potholder, and the three “feet” allow me to turn it over to lay it on the counter, which also makes it a good cooling rack. I do not trust it enough to use it as a strainer since it could slide around as I tip the pot over the sink. It’s easy to handwash with a scrubby sponge on both sides, rinse, and quickly dry with a towel so that I can slide it back into my cabinet so it’s out of the way. You can use the hook on the end to hang-dry, if you prefer, or somehow place it in your dishwasher. This is a heavy-duty product I highly recommend.”
